Going all out

So, when Pat and I decided we would be really dedicated to this paying off debt resolution, Pat suggested we get rid of cable. I thought for sure he was joking, we both enjoy watching television and although our time is limited, we still use it enough to pay for it.

I then started to realize that lately television has went down on the priority list and that I actually watch most of my shows online. After some checking, I found that all of my favorites could be found online and gave Pat the green light. We officially turned off our home phone, which was a no brainer, we never use it, and also had the cable turned off. We upgraded our internet by one level and we are now going to be saving $60 per month by making these changes!

We have started following the Dave Ramsey plan per a couple recommendations and I will definitely try to share on our progress throughout the year. I feel like this was a great first step and can't wait to find other easy ways for us to save money!

Wish us luck as we start this new adventure!!!

NOTHING feels as good as being debt free Shawn. We would like to pay our house off in 5 years.I love that we can make it on one salary and laugh when people say I have no idea how people live on that much money LOL and it is more than Tom and I make.We have zero CC debt and I never want to go to sleep wondering how to pay for something.Did that for years and Dave saved us.YOU can do it and you will never be sorry.Tell me what coupons you need and I will save them for you.
