Major Bonus Points!

My wonderful husband earned a lot of bonus points for planning a surprise outing for my 27th birthday today. He told me last night that he had taken the next day off of work, found someone to watch Grace and we were going out for a couple hours to celebrate!

I was very excited, to say the least, and we had a great time today going out to lunch and going to see a movie- 27 dresses, which was very funny! We then went to pick up our little girl and spent most of the afternoon playing outdoors, taking a very long walk, and visiting with neighbors that we had not seen in forever. It was a great birthday and I loved spending some alone time with Pat, and also getting to spend the afternoon with my beautiful little girl and our puppies.

I have found myself reminiscing a lot lately, with Grace's 1st birthday looming, and found myself thinking about my 26th birthday. I remember being stressed about work , uncomfortable because I was 9 months pregnant, and very unsure of what life would be like with a baby entering our life. I can definitely say this year's birthday was a great improvement, and I am so excited to see what this year is going to be like!
