So, I am just going to say it....

...I have been a blogger slacker. Yes, I am admitting it, I have failed to update my blog in the last month, but I am ready and focused on doing a better job this month! There is so much to update, so I am going to do a quick review of the last month:

Grace went on her first date with our next door neighbor's little boy, Caden. We chaperoned but I think there was a little spark there!

We had our final family dinner with Nick, Ashley, and Steph, before Steph left for home after finishing her first year of college. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait for Steph to get back so we can have family dinners at her place next year!

Steph and I had one last girls weekend before she left, which included quality time with Grace, pedicures, a little shopping, dinner at Red Robin, and taking funny pictures while Pat watched and shook his head- I really do not know how he is going to handle Grace when she is a teenager!

We had Hannah over for a visit and her and Grace had a blast! Hannah is a lot more mobile and her and Grace were getting into all kinds of trouble and keeping me on my toes! It is so fun to see the two of them together, they are so big!

We spend every nice day and night outside, Grace absolutely loves it! She plays with the puppies, carries around their dog bowls (don't ask, we figure she will be the kid with the security dog bowl instead of blanket!), and loves playing in her sandbox and walking down the driveway.

I am working almost full time for most of the month of May, so my mom came to help with Grace for a couple days and they had a lot of fun! It was beautiful weather so they spent a lot of time outside. Grace is now spending extra days at daycare which is going well but I think we will both be happy for May to be over!

Pat got Grace ready to go outside one night, and this is what she looked like- men dressing babies can be so funny sometimes!

Grace's new favorite toy is her Ragedy Ann doll she got for her birthday from Grandpa Tom and Grandma Pam- she is in love with this doll and drags it around everywhere! She pulls it by the hair most of the time, we will have to break her of that habit before we have another baby!

On nights when Grace is a little crabby, we have found a way to entertain her- strip her down and let her run around in her diaper, works like a charm!

Almost caught up, we are up to this past weekend! Aunt Mary, Uncle Jim, and Matthew came for a visit and we had a great time with them! We spent Saturday morning doing the Children's Leukemia Foundation walk in Grand Haven. The Kite Festival was also taking place so that was fun to see- Grace is obsessed with balloons and fans right now, so she was very excited!

We had Mother's Day dinner with the Roth family on Saturday afternoon after the walk and it was nice to see Alivia and Lainey- they are getting so big! Grace also got to swing on their new swing set- very fun!

All caught up, wow, that was a lot of pictures to go through! I will definitely be updating more often, I have a lot of fun Grace stories to share, but I am done for tonight! We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying Spring!
