We took a road trip this weekend to Cleveland, Ohio, for Matt and Rachel's wedding. Pat was a groomsman and we headed out Thursday after work so he could go golfing with the boys on Friday- his first time! After a couple minor bumps in the road, we finally made it to the hotel around midnight.
Grace and I spent Friday at the hotel relaxing while Pat golfed (horribly he says) and then had the rehearsal dinner on Friday night. Saturday morning was spent checking out Cleveland and then Pat had to meet up with the other groomsmen for pictures before the wedding. The wedding was beautiful (at least, this is what I hear, Grace and I spent the whole wedding in the nursery at the church!) and ended just in time, a huge storm blew in right after it was over. After a very scary trip to the reception, which was at the Cleveland Brown's Stadium, we were ready to party! It was a very relaxing wedding reception, with peanuts, popcorn, and soft pretzels for appetizers, and hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. Loved it!
It was a beautiful venue, the atmosphere was great, and we had such a good time. Grace did great, she was amazing through the whole reception, but very active and Grandpa Tom did a great job of entertaining her! We had a lot of fun dancing and Grace stayed awake until we left at 10:30 and fell asleep as soon as we got in the car!
Here are some of the best pictures from the fun:
