Tree #1 was leaning the right direction and Pat was feeling adventurous so he did this one on his own (with me on stand by with the phone set to 911). It was very entertaining, let me tell you!
Pat's dad, Tom, came over on Saturday to help us with tree #2 because it was a lot bigger then the first one and it was learning towards the road- we were a little nervous about cutting it down and ruining the fence. Pat had to climb up the tree, tie a rope around the top, and then pull while his dad cut. I stood in the street to make sure the tree did not come down on a passerby or car but this was not needed because the tree fell right into the yard- success!
Here is a cute shot of Grace with her Grandpa Tom standing on the new tree stump! Grace and the puppies were very interested in the whole process.
So, the point of this blog is let everyone know if they need wood for a campfire, let us know, we have a ton to spare! Take a look!

That's more wood than you can shake a stick at.
(note to Shawn: the above sentence is grammatically incorrect, as I ended it in a preposition)
