Camera is broken, Lily decided to jump up on the bar counter to look for food and my camera took a tumble off the edge. Now it takes pictures but it is very slow and makes all of the pictures blurry. I am hoping to get it fixed this weekend!
We had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed spending time with all of our family. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with Pat's parents and then spent the afternoon visiting and playing cards. My parents came that night and we spent Friday morning shopping (we got some goodies!) and then helped my brother and his fiance move into their new house. It is beautiful and we are so happy for them! Saturday was relaxing and then a turkey dinner with my parents and brother. It was very yummy but my mom and I came down with a stomach bug that night and next morning so it was not enjoyed for long. Overall, stomach bug and all, we had a great weekend.
Life is busy with getting ready for the holidays, work, and school. Grace is a joy, full of energy, words, and giggles. Her favorite new game involves throwing balls out of her play pool we have in the basement and having Pat and I throw them back to her. She LOVES it! She is finally opening herself to different foods then just macaroni and cheese! Patience has paid off and she is finally starting to eat different foods we offer her. It makes dinner so much easier to make and it is a lot more relaxing and fun. She is talking a ton, lots and lots of new words, I can't even begin to list them. Everyday there is a couple new words and lots of new phrases, "Whats that?" is her favorite. She is also a huge helper with picking up toys. It has taken time but she finally understands toys need to be picked up before bedtime and she is so helpful - yes! She will also pick up garbage on the ground, throw it away, saying "yucky" the whole time. She is a funny little girl!
