What's in a name?

While Grace was dancing the other day, Pat asked her, "Are you jammin?"
Grace replied with "Nooooo, I Grace!"

We went to Target on Sunday to check out the fantastic day after Valentine's day sale and Grace got to pick out a new stuffed animal. She picked out a cute frog and when Pat asked Grace what she was going to name it, she said Rick. Really, Rick? So, now we have a frog named Rick that goes everywhere with us and we have no idea where she got the name Rick.

About two weeks ago, I was asking Grace to name everyone in a picture. She would point to everyone and say, "Boppa, Uncle Nick, Lainey, etc." When I pointed to a picture of Grace and asked her what the name of that person was she yelled "You!" If someone asks her what her name is she replies with "You!" Mom lesson of the week: When pointing to your child in a picture or the mirror, make sure you say her name, not the word you when describing them because they will then think their name is "You".
