Finding the motivation...

After the two weekends of weddings and taking tons of pictures, I noticed that I had no interest in picking up my camera. I just wanted a break from capturing moments and just wanted to enjoy my time with my family.

I sometimes find I am so focused on capturing moments on camera that I miss out on really experiencing them. So, finding the motivation to take pictures lately has taken a backseat to just enjoying life. This weekend I felt renergized, grabbed my camera, and started to take tons of pictures of Gracie, Pat, the puppies, and the trees starting to change color. I could see the look in Pat's and Grace's eyes, like she is at it again, but I got some great shots and it was fun.
