Grace said this the other day to our Christmas tree as we were leaving for work and daycare and I could not help but laugh. Our sweet little girl loves to give kisses, hugs, and the wonderful words of "I love you! I love you very very much!" right now and it is the best gift.
I also love our Christmas tree. I spend every night sitting on the couch under a blanket, reading or playing on the computer (usually shopping for Christmas gifts!) and just enjoying the beautiful lights and silence. It is wonderful and I will be sad when it is time to take it down, perhaps I can convince Pat we should keep it up year round? Save us the hassle of having to put it away and take it back out every year? I am pretty sure that argument will not work so for now I am enjoying it everyday until we take it down.
Here are some pictures of us putting up the Christmas tree and decorations. This year was the first time Grace was excited to decorate, she was pulling ornaments out of boxes and lining them up on the couch before we even had the tree up. She especially loves the Precious Moments nativity set that we have, she hugs Baby Jesus to her chest and says, you guessed it, I love you very very much Baby Jesus!
