Funny, yes, and many have told us it is worthy of being entered in a contest for best Santa picture. Our child, though, seems to be scarred by the whole incident and wants nothing to do with the big red man!
She is also scared of Swipper the Fox from Dora. For those without a child who is obsessed with Dora, here a picture of this scary guy whose job on the show is to "swipe" things.

Now, I can kind of see it, a mean little fox who likes to steal things, not exactly very friendly, but she is really not a fan and tells us this every night.
So, now that you have the background, this conversation between Pat and Grace should make sense.
Grace: "Daddy, I am scared and can't go to sleep."
Pat: "Grace, what are you scared of? There is nothing to be afraid of, mommy and daddy are right next door."
Grace: "I think Santa is going to come in my room. And Swiper is going to take my bed."
Pat: "Well, what do we say to Swiper if we don't want him to take our bed?"
Grace: "Swiper, NO SWIPING! Errrrr." (Pat had taught this to Gracie previously, she made up the errrr part)
Pat: "Well, what do you think you should say to Santa?"
Grace: "Santa, go away! And Merry Christmas!"
At least she is polite to the things she is scared of, right?
