On Tuesday, when we got home from work, Grace was so excited by all of the snow on the ground. I was exhausted, wanted to eat dinner, and relax while Pat snowblowed the driveway. The poor kid was so sad looking that I bundled up both she and I and headed out into the winter wonderland. Now, I am not a big fan of snow. Cold, wet, and generally not something I like to be out in. Whole different world when you have a kid and the delight and fun they have in it.
We walked around for a while in some of the bigger drifts, Grace would get the giggles really bad every time she fell down. We then spent a large amount of our time on the swing set, enjoying how the wet slide went so fast! The first trip down ended up with Grace face down in the snow and she didn't even care!
Our neighbor boy, Blake, came down to play for a while and Grace loves this. Blake is very patient with her and even pushed her on the swings so I could take pictures. We came in with really red faces, cold hands, and I felt 100 times better and more awake! Fresh air is an amazing thing!

Oh Shawn she loves the snow-Gracie and her gramps went out after you all left and spent over an hour out there and she LOVES the ziffy whomper.
Sounds like a blast! Kids can bring out that easygoing kid in us!
