Some Random Updates...

Just wanted to give some quick updates, I have been horrible at updating lately!

Resolutions are going really well! We are hitting all of our saving goals and really living by the Dave Ramsey plan, it is so exciting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! A few small sacrifices really add up, let me tell you!

We recently decided to add on cable because we can get cable and internet through Comcast for $10 less per month then what we were paying for internet alone! Crazy how competitive different companies are right now, definitely a sign of the times I guess! Plus, Lost was starting soon, couldn't miss it! We actually don't watch television a lot, only when I am working out or Grace will watch Sesame Street some mornings. We get a ton more done when the tv is not a prominent part of the nightly schedule!

I am still clipping coupons like a crazy person, I even found a group at work that exchanges coupons each week and jumped on the bandwagon! It has been a huge money saver for our family, on top of not eating out, I believe this is where we have saved the most money!

Training for the 5k has actually been quite easy and I am enjoying running again. Pat is also training and we should be set to run the distance of a 5k by my birthday on March 25th. I figure that could be a pretty AWESOME way to celebrate turning 29! Definitely a long way from where I was a year ago. If you are interesting in running but scared to start, I definitely recommend the Couch to 5K program, it rocks!

Miss Grace has been sick on and off for the last couple weeks but seems to be back on the upswing. We have all been passing around a nasty bug and I can't wait to get it out of my house! Grace spends most of her time in her room, reading, playing at her craft table with lots and lots of stickers, and singing random songs. She is sometimes whiny but we can't really complain, we are very lucky and spoiled by how good she is! Every time I say this somebody tells me wait until she turns 3, I hope they are wrong! I have put a new video at the end of the post, I know some people have already seen it, but thought it would be fun to share with everyone!

Uncle Bobby made the trip down to visit last week and we had a great time catching up! Stephanie came over for dinner on Sunday night and they had a very competitive game of Elefun going on. Poor little Grace just stood there staring as they body checked each other to catch butterflies, it was quite the sight to be seen!

I got the chance to spend an afternoon with Andrea, baby Mae, and Hannah this past week and baby Mae is beautiful! She is so fun to cuddle and Hannah is being a great big sister. Cuddling that sweet baby definitely gives me a little baby fever, let me tell you! The whole family is adjusting beautifully, gives me hope that we can do the same when we have #2!
