Lots of updates!

After some prompting from various people, I thought I would take some time to give some updates and add a new video! Since my last post here are some of the major things that happened:
  • Grace turned 6 months old on October 17th! It went so fast- and it has been so much fun! We had her doctor appointment the next week and here were her stats: Weight: 16 lbs 8 oz. (75th percentile), Height: 27 inches (90th percentile) She took her shots like a champ, and the doctor said she is going great!

  • We went to Sears to get Grace's 6 month pictures, Sears was running a little late, and I could see a disaster ready to happen! Grace was very patient, playing with daddy, and was all smiles for the photographer! We went in planning on buying just a couple, and left with the picture disk and a whole package of pictures- whoops!

  • Pat and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on October 23rd. Once again, it has went so fast and so much has changed in 3 years. It has been an amazing 3 years and although this is kind of mushy, I love Pat so much and would not trade my life with him for anything! The life we have built together is amazing, and I am looking forward to everything we have to look forward to!

  • My parents came to stay with Grace while Pat and I went on a little vacation to Chicago for 2 days. They had a great time and Grace decided to sleep through the night both nights- lucky them! Pat and I had a great time, spent a lot of time relaxing, did a little shopping, and spent one day in Chicago at the Science and Industry Museum. We missed Grace but it was nice to get a little alone time and it also gave my parents a great opportunity to spend time with Grace.

  • Halloween was here before we knew it and Grace was a very cute but crabby Eeyore! She was not happy at all about having to wear her costume-she is a spring/summer baby that hates anything that covers her up, like hats, socks, and especially Eeyore costumes! We went to GVSU to visit Pat and his co-workers, see Steph and her roommate, and visit my co-workers. It was a lot of fun, but Grace was so tired by the end of the day that she did not get to see any of the trick or treaters. All in all, it was a very fun first Halloween with Grace!

It has been a very busy but fun couple weeks! We are looking forward to a relaxing month of November, spent raking leaves and getting ready for the holidays! For fun, I have added a new video of Grace- she has become a rolling addict, and spends lots of time rolling from tummy to back to tummy to get to the toys she wants. No crawling for her, she much rather roll! She has also started doing another new trick that makes me and Pat laugh- you will have to watch the video to see! Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather and beautiful fall colors!
