Ear infection, pink eye, and teething- oh my!

Grace has had a very hard couple of days, let me tell you! After a night of barely sleeping on Saturday night, Grace woke up with a fever, a runny nose, and her right eye was swollen shut. Let just say we had a very unhappy baby on our hands! Slowly during the day, her eye got a little better but it had a ton of greenish discharge and her left eye started to get bad, too. We called the on call nurse and she said she thought it was pink eye. She called in a prescription for eye drops and told us that if it wasn't better in about 3 days to call the doctor.

After another long night, I just felt like something else was wrong, so I called the doctor's office and the nurse said to definitely bring her in and that the on call nurse can not diagnose pink eye over the phone. We took her in and she does have pink eye in both eyes but she also has an ear infection! Yuck! We are not sure where she got the pink eye, but I left a message at our daycare just in case.

The poor kid is also dealing with teething right now, so we are just praying that a tooth will pop out soon and give her a little relief! Today she was a lot better and was back to being my sweet little baby even though she was still very tired. Her eyes are much better and she is definitely feeling much better, I am happy to report! We even got a couple smiley pictures from today I thought I would share! Hope everyone else is staying healthy!
