In the last month, Grace has decided that being carried or sitting in carts anywhere is not acceptable. She would prefer to walk, thank you very much!
This is a new step in independence for her and she does very well with it. Our only rule is she has to hold one of our hands when she is walking. We have found when one of us takes Grace's hand, she looks around for another person to hold her hand and will not continue walking unless both of us are involved.
This prompted Pat to tell her yesterday that she must be a member of the Equal Opportunity Hand Holders Group. Grace smiled and replied with a loud and proud "Yes!" So there you go, our daughter has officially joined (or I guess started) her own group, anyone interested in joining?
